Believe it or not, game consoles already existed thirty years ago. The Atari 2600, launched in 1977, was one of the first to reach wide acclaim, mainly because of its interchangeable cartridges.
Some of those early games have managed to survive to this day, with versions for new generation consoles and stunning redone graphics. Here’s a little help in case you’re not good with names: Space Invaders, Enduro, Keystone Kapers, PitFall, etc. Ring any bells?
